I'm a 19 year male who is pretty decent physical shape, but not very well mentally. I haven't been diagnosed by any doctors or specialists yet but I'm pretty sure I have ADHD and other mental problems maybe as well as anger issues.
Apparently since about infancy I have slept with my eyes open, and until recently I found out I talk in my sleep. I also noticed that sometimes when I fall asleep I'll suddenly wake up and it will be kind of jerky or something like a twitch. Every now and then when that happens I will mutter something, and be surprised. I was in Naval boot camp for 3 months and throughout the time I was told by fellow "sailors" that on some nights they could hear me talking in my sleep. On one specific night the people that were awake and ironing their clothes and the other 2 that were standing "guard" heard and saw me sit up at night and (pardon my language) say "Get the **** out of my way mother****er!" and then I laid right back down. My wife has carried on one or more conversations with me too.
Another thing that she has told me I do in my sleep is grind my teeth, which she and I both know she does too.
We both have sleeping problems, and actually some of the ones I've listed she has too: Grind teeth, talk in sleep, and sit up in our sleep.
Does anyone have any advice or anything to this? Does anyone else have these symptoms of their sleeping? |
